To commemorate this anniversary, the Davenham Branch of the Royal British Legion and St Wilfrid’s Church Davenham are holding a Commemmoration Day on Saturday 30th June in the church.  The event will comprise an exhibition and displays reflecting the period, with authentic material of the time.  Glyn Roberts , the event co Ordinator, says “I would be happy to include more personal and local memorabilia in this event.  If anyone is able to loan such items, please get in touch – it would be great to hear from you”.
