Parking restictions – Kingsmead Square

Many of you will know that parking enforcement notices have gone up in Kingsmead Square and have raised concerns that this will exacerbate parking issues around Kingsmead Primary School at drop off and pick up times.

I have spoken with the managing agents this morning and they have confirmed that parents will still be able to use the car park to drop off/pick up children from Kingsmead Primary School.

The restrictions are there to prevent vehicles from parking in disabled bays without displaying a blue badge, parking on kerbs, blocking more than one space, using parent and child spaces without a child, parking on yellow lines and access areas.  There is no waiting time restriction and cars parked correctly in marked bays will not receive a ticket.

Please share this information with other concerned residents and make sure you are correctly parked in a marked bay.
