Kingsmead Tree Management

Kingsmead Parish Council has identified an issue with Ash Dieback disease amongst some of the ash trees within the Parish. This is a widely recognised problem within the UK that is affecting many areas. As a safety measure the Council has now started a programme of tree felling to remove those trees most severely affected. You will be aware of this ongoing work over the coming weeks as our appointed tree specialist (Caddis Ltd.) carry out the works. The Council will continue to monitor the situation over the coming years and further tree removal will be carried out as necessary. Where it is appropriate, the Council will start planting native tree replacements later in the year.

If you have any queries about this work, please message the Council using the “Contact Us” page.
