King’s Coronation Event Raises £695.54 for The Joshua Tree

Kingsmead Parish Council is delighted that it was able to raise £695.54 in a raffle at its recent King’s Coronation Event. The free community event was organised by the Parish Council, with the support of local volunteers, providing a full day of family entertainment and music.  With the added benefit of a lovely day of sunshine, the event was well supported by the local community who generously gave in the raffle for The Joshua Tree. Cllr Spencer Jewitt (Chair of the Events Group) and Cllr Laura Hoey (Vice-Chair Kingsmead Parish Council) presented a cheque for the money raised to The Joshua Tree on Monday 22nd May.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who attended and supported this very worthy local charity.
