Theft from Antique Centre
A 43 year old male from the Bolton area has been charged with a number of thefts from an antique unit at the Blakemere Craft Centre, Sandiway. The male during late July 2017 had targeted a number of antique units by forcing open the glass display cabinets and stealing war medals and jewellery including first world medals. Unfortunately none of the stolen items have been recovered. He will appear at Chester Magistrates on 15th September 2017.
Bike Theft – On Tuesday 5th September 2017 between 13:30hrs and 15:05hrs a Carrera Vengeance mountain bike was stolen from Vickers Way Park, Northwich. It is described as black with greyish/silver writing and has a small rubber white light on the handlebars and a small red light on the bar at the rear of the seat. It has a standard black saddle.
Autumn is nearly here
Well the summer has nearly gone and all the holidays are over. The summer period has seen no major incidents for the police to deal with in the local area. We have managed many community events all which have passed without incident. We have also supported the force in all other events including Chester races season and Creamfields music festival to name a few.
The ASB in the local area has been relevantly low for the time of year. We are putting plans in place for the next period of demand of Halloween and bonfire night events.

As the nights draw in and the days get shorter can you look to ensure your vehicles are roadworthy for the winter period. Ensure all your lights are working, windscreen wash topped up, tyres checked, battery checked and the heaters working. Don’t be caught out with these simple checks they could save you time money and an accident?
Kids are back at school
Consider school neighbours. Don’t block driveways or cause obstructions when dropping off your children.
Don’t park on double yellow lines or school crossing areas, kill your speed.
We will have extra patrols outside the schools during the next few weeks at both start of the school day and at the end for community engagement.
Drugs Warrants
At approximately 08:00hrs on Friday 8th September 22017 a drugs search warrant was conducted at an address in Greenall Road, Northwich. A large amount of cannabis resin and bush was recovered in 27 separate deals and £4000 cash seized. The 57 year old occupant was arrested and has been released under investigation whilst the enquiry is concluded.
Drugs Warrant Update
On 24th July 2017 a drugs warrant was conducted at an address in Weaver View, Northwich where 148 wraps of heroin and crack was recovered at the address. A 31 year old male, Liam Clark was arrested who is from the Liverpool area on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class”A” drugs. He was later charged and has pleaded guilty. He was sentenced on 23rd August 2017 to 3 years in custody.

New members of the Team
We have three new PCSO, s starting this week which we have been eagerly waiting to replace others who have moved on to pastures new.
PCSO Nichola Devey will be working the Weaverham beat area.
PCSO Matt Johnson will be covering Over and St Johns Estate, Winsford.
PCSO Aimee Hough will be covering the Grange Estate, Winsford.
In the next month they will be working in company with an experienced PCSO and beat officer then on their new areas.
